It's amazing to see how far CS has come over the years, I would argue CSGO changed it a lot but most of the changes were to modernise it, not change the game entirely.

I find it crazy how far things have changed in just 5 years. The video edits, the game, everything pretty much. I used to play a lot of jailbreak and cops & robbers servers in CS 1.6. At the time I didn't even know that competitive existed and I so wish I did.

ah cs 1.6 was the first game I played on the "big box monitor computers" and obviously Spawn was my main man back then init, I just loved the guy as he was the best player in the world for quite some time.

Without a doubt the best game i have played competitively ever. Everything just fit in so well together, it was magical. Also the highest level i've reached ever, will probably never change.

ikr, unfortunately i did not experience cs source but i see what you mean about the edits, now a days they is slow mo, speed up and some little memes here and there. ;)
